This opportunity seems to be an excellent fit for my goals in my remaining years in the workforce. I took of 3 1/2 years of semi retirement, & am ready to re enter the workforce.

Security Gard, 9/2018 10/2019

My duties were to process, & scan all items, & personel that passed through the Main checkpoint at the Fed Ex Oakland Airport facility. I also patrolled the entire Fed Ex perimeter on foot. Typically 8 miles normal shift to 15 miles on a double shift.

• I received training on both stationary, & hand held metal detectors. I received extensive 4 day training on their state of the art x ray machine which through color coding could identify contraband such as weapons to explosives.

Switchman/Conductor/Trainman

My duties were the effective, & accurate switching of trains in whichever yard I was stationed.

• As a trainman it was my job to transport trains safely throughout the Nor Cal area.

• As a conductor it was my responsibility to obtain all subdivision info on restrictions, slow orders, & haz mat materials within the train.

My duties as a Hostler were the safe transit of containers to & from the train. That required the locating, & parking of trailers, & containers. I also operated the chassis stacker/flipper which was giant forklift.
