Instrumentation Engineer (Contract) 07/2022 – 03/2023

Configured all metrological data collection files for instruments required in the processes, testing, validation, manufacturing, calibration, and automation functions. Work was done with Microsoft Office, Excel, and included cost centers, in a multimillion, R&D Vaccine Project, sponsored by the government, in a cGMP structure.

Transferred instrumentation calibration information from the Metrology Spreadsheet to all measuring instruments in the instrumentation calibration software used by the client, enabling Calibration Alerts and Preventive Maintenance during the functional life of the processes, for regulatory compliance with FDA approved practices, for manufacturing procedure.

Bridge Gap Engineering: Cement Industry Consultants in Northampton, PA 05/2021 - 03/2022

Reviewed and analyzed customer contracts and design proposals.

Collaborated with the teams in developing replacements for complete loops of cement production following agreements with the customers and approved by the parent company, using industry standards.

Demonstrated an inclusive spirit by integrating the Indian BGE company branch, for the layouts and assemblies created in SolidWorks to be presented to the customers for approvals, stretching collaboration and workflow across two continents, and different time zones.

Smart Dimmers and Lighting Controls Developer

Designed, manufactured, and tested, 5 new workbench tools for the electronics industry, meeting the company’s stringent safety and ergonomics rules.

Demonstrated initiative and excellent problem-solving skills while presenting the Design Concepts and the Design Reviews for the new tools to the engineering teams. Used Creo 4.0 and Windchill software, for solid modeling and creation of technical drawings.

Created Tolerance Stack Up, analysis, using advanced GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to check feasibility of the designs, as installation spaces were extremely tight.

Wrote ECOs to revise, create and or modified subassemblies ordering data based on customer requirements for safety and ergonomics.

Completed the tools while working with the company’s Third-Party Suppliers, obtaining Purchase Orders, for the Purchase Requisitions issued, observing all quality requirements applicable, and with excellent time management.

Project Quality Engineering for New Product Integration 11/2014 – 12/2016

Developed and deployed Quality Standards for the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Quality Tool Plan (QTP) for projects on new emissions regulations, in the company’s Quality System.

Launched the first PFMEAs and Control Plans and participated in the new project tooling Capability Studies for tools used on critical torques, demonstrating great attention to detail.

Lead the activities within the project team to have the root cause and corrective actions documented, applied, tested, and validated.

Managed the development of Engineering Change Orders as required by Quality Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Production, Service, using Excel and PowerPoint presentations.

Supported the Sales and Product Support teams by creating documentation packages for customers’ discussions and solution submission, easing the process flow.

Provided technical assistance to the Production team through drawing layouts, using advanced computer skills, like Creo and PDM Link/Windchill, and created Work Instructions and Specifications for end of the line assembly inspection.

Was trained as 6 Sigma Green Belt in the Caterpillar 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing model, demonstrating design accountability during the pilot builds.

Lead Green Belt projects in a strong 6 Sigma environment, during the new machine pilot stage, and production ramp-up.
