Prepared and formatted the missing orders form for the lab blood drawing room (PLMS) - this form was used when Veterans would come into the lab and there were no orders in the VISTA computer system. The Veteran was given this form to take to their Primary Care Team so that lab orders could be entered in the computer so the Veteran could have their blood drawn. Responsible for reporting the monthly and quarterly Laboratory Workload by capturing the LMIP data collection through the VHA Service Support Center (VSSC) website to obtain the patient census items. PIV Sponsor - determined if the applicant/new employee is authorized to be issued a PIV Card, non-PIV card, flash badge, current employee, VA contractor or affiliate/volunteer had a current background investigation on record. Sponsored the applicant by entering his or her sponsorship information into the PIV System, provided a copy of the PIV privacy policy to the applicant, remained aware of the applicant’s status and continued the need for holding a PIV card, recover terminated PIV Cards from departing staff and sent these items to the closet Badge Office, initiated renewals/reissuances for current or previous cardholders, and remind the applicants to bring two forms of ID to his/her appointment.
