Human Resources Payroll / Benefits Specialist (July 8th 2024 - Present)

Execute 3 different Payrolls and processes involved monthly in a timely manner. Addressing issues, analyzing reports, comparing data, document preparing, and meeting deadlines involved with all processes. Sending and preparing reports and documents to necessary parties involved for signatures and approval.

Enter personnel actions for employees such as: benefits changes, contact information, termination, leave, timesheet entries and adjustments, longevity reports and implementation

Balance monthly payrolls to ensure accuracy and maintain required payroll documents in an organized manner.

Assist in overseeing accuracy of appropriate annual, sick, and comp leave balances.

Maintain benefit records in employee’s payroll files in an organized and efficient manner. Maintain all employee benefits such as health, dental, vision, life, dependent life, HSA’s and FSA’s on a regular basis to ensure employee benefit coverage.

Create invoices and prepare monthly insurance deductions for retiree insurance accounts, reconcile invoices, and submit payments.

Creating Excel files after each full-time payroll with retirement contributions from the employee and employer, balancing and submitting to Bank of Oklahoma for disbursement to each employee’s retirement accounts.

Communicate with actuaries about former employees, retirees on old retirement accounts, calculating and communicating retirement benefits at the time of retirement (monthly benefits, insurance costs, joint spouse annuity options) and ensure that all appropriate tax and beneficiary forms are completed.
