My assignment here was to correct bugs in an existing Access database application, then create a new version to improve accuracy and the user interface. This involved splitting the database into front end and backend components to make it multi-user.
The data was both Access databases and ODBC connections to SQL Server and Oracle databases.

In this role I am supporting a system transition project schedule Excel spreadsheet to identify and track tasks for transitioning employees, hardware, and system configurations to move activities from Cigna to New York Life. This involves using Access to gather and combine several Excel spreadsheets into a Master Schedule used by the project team to manage transitions tasks. Access is being used because the macro enabled spreadsheets were to slow to use in the production environment.
All the Excel VBA macros were moved to an Access database and modified as needed to process the data. Access SQL queries were written to manipulate the data.

In this role, my responsibility was to create and support desktop applications that supported government funded grants. The applications gather and validate data required for reporting to the funder. Theses applications were Microsoft Access VBA applications.
Lead a team of three in converting two Microsoft Access applications to web based applications using C# and SQL Server databases. We used Visual Studio 2017, Ajax, and Telerik tools. This included designing and building the database and user interface, and building queries, functions, and stored procedures using SSMS. I was responsible from converting the VBA code to C#.
Also supported and modified Access applications That had not yet been converted to web applications.
Supported and enhanced a timekeeping and payroll application written in Excel with VBA macros.
