Development and Performance Evaluation of Lightweight Bricks from Industrial Waste Materials
• Lightweight bricks were created by combining recycled EPS, fly ash, cement, and sand, then molding and curing for 28 days. This Materials were chosen to reduce density while preserving structural integrity. This develops an environmentally friendly, cost-effective than regular bricks.
• The produced bricks are lighter than traditional bricks, with a density of 1,200–1,500 kg/m and compressive strength of 5–10 MPa. Their improved thermal insulation qualities made them appropriate for energy-efficient building. This approach promotes sustainability in construction. Delineation of Water Sheds Using GIS
• Watershed delineation using GIS involves analyzing Digital Elevation Models to identify flow direction, flow accumulation, and stream networks, ensuring accurate boundary mapping. Steps include filling sinks, generating flow data, and defining pour points to determine contributing areas.
• The delineated watersheds are used to study hydrological processes, manage water resources, and plan infrastructure projects.
