Résumé

I am looking forward to working as a caregiver having spent almost eight months assisting my landlord/friend in recovery from a minor stroke and, after four months, two knee replacement surgeries. I spent time with him after work in the evenings and overnight assisting him, under the direction of his occupational therapist, with exercises for hand and arm movement. After four months, I assisted in strengthening and stretching exercises helping him in recovery from his knee surgeries. We added both his exercise plans as part of his bathing, dressing for bed and mornings with personal care and dressing.

I got a massage license in ‘93 and I am planning to renew my license as part of my caregiving skills and private practice.
