Provided general medical care (surgical, gynecological, internal medicine, and pediatrics) for ambulant and hospitalized in the Internal Medicine Department, also conducted counseling, diagnosis, and treatment for tuberculosis patients and people living with HIV.

Provided special care to diabetes patients (new, complicated, and follow-up cases) and ordered medical and laboratory supplies and equipment needed to improve diabetes care at the hospital.

Coordinated the hospital's diabetic clinic as the diabetes focal point and established a hospital diabetes database (diabetes register) and acted as the head of the Internal Medicine service several times.

Initiated a project to improve pregnancy outcomes through out-of-charge multidisciplinary care for young women with diabetes followed in the BDOM Diabetes Care Network thanks to funds from “Life for a Child” and “Eli Lilly” with St Joseph Hospital as the implementation site.

Designed and coordinated a two-year project of free Fundus Examination in our diabetes care network to prevent severe eye complications through early detection. Eli-Lilly funded this project, and it helped empower twelve general practitioners to practice and master the Fundus Examination to ensure the continuation and easy accessibility of the exam to those who cannot afford it.

Managed data, generated reports, produced tracking documents and participated in workshops and in-service meetings to enhance personal growth and professional development.
