Software Engineer at GE Appliances
- Designed and implemented dryer multi-key press and hold in C and verified the functionality using GE's C++ unit testing framework
- Designed and filed a patent for a system that determines dryer drying time using information from its equivalent washer
- Wrote code to accurately determine energy usage for various dryer types and push it to a user-facing mobile app to allow them to track the device's energy usage at a minute granularity July 2024–
Feb. 2025
Summer Intern at Honeywell Aerospace
- Built a desktop tool using Python to automate the testing process for Honeywell's next gen cockpit software and hardware technology.
- The tool can record and play back tests either manually or remotely, which is estimated to save the team 2000 hours of testing.
May 2023 –
August 2023
Fall co-op at Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin
- Worked on developing automated GUI tests for a ground-based application used to collect data on helicopter health, and alert systems when maintenance is required or in case of pilot errors during flights that could potentially damage the helicopter. Sept. 2022–
Dec. 2022
Summer Intern at Honeywell Aerospace
- Worked with the cockpit GUI team to improve the UI experience for pilots by making significant changes to the cockpit screens.
- Successfully developed a dashboard using Python to run test benches for flight simulations and determine if tests were successful or not.
May 2022–
Sept. 2022
Research Intern at Purdue
- Contributed to a team utilizing machine learning to improve agricultural efficiency by differentiating healthy plants from unhealthy plants automatically. Developed the training set for the ML model, achieving a prediction accuracy of over 95%.

PROJECTS • Purdue Space Program (PSP)
Part of High Altitudes, a project aiming to send a rocket to the Karman line. Roles: Co-lead of Avionics: Responsible for maintaining timelines for the team and coming up with different solutions to various problems related to aerospace and computer engineering. Responsible for the wiring and electronics of avionics systems with the recovery systems.
• VIP – APPS
Resistor value detector: Implemented a logistic regression model to classify an image as a resistor and then used image processing techniques to isolate the color bands and determine the colors with nearest-neighbor. The finished app was able to calculate resistors values with consistency comparable to humans. Cat breed classifier: Worked on a team of 6 students building a convolutional neural network from scratch in pure Python that classifies 64x64 images of cats into different breeds. Implemented edge detection pre- processing and the ReLU layers and achieved 61.8% accuracy even with very limited computing resources.
• Calculator on FGPA development board
Conceptualized and executed a binary and hexadecimal calculator project using Verilog. Integrated CMOS circuitry to enhance precision and operational efficiency.
• Dinosaur game on STM32 board
Developed a Dinosaur game on STM32 board using C, encompassing full circuit wiring, and programming responsibilities. Acquired proficiency in CMSIS, SPI, DMA and STM32.
