Responsible for receipt, submission, and subsequent tracking of expedited and periodic safety reports pertaining to the department’s projects. Assists management in producing project metrics as required. Involved in projects and programs relating to safety reporting and may take a lead role on projects.

Receives, prepares and submits safety reports to applicable parties. Escalates to lead and/or line manager if any issues are encountered. Ensures reports are submitted in compliance with regulatory timelines and country legislation.Assists in producing metrics and alerts manager to any quality or timeline issues.

Performs administrative tasks such as filing and the maintenance of safety reporting systems and information. Develops and provides project management team guidance utilizing the HSE MS Program in accordance with established polices, systems, processes, procedures and methods, client requirements and regulations. Participates in meetings with customers, Project team members, and contractors/subcontractors to advise of Project-specific mitigation plans, HSE training program, and technical reports. Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s, SSOP’s, and government/industry regulations, codes, and standards.

Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance principles, root cause analysis strategies, and continuous process improvement. Collect and analyze finish product samples to evaluate quality as required by our Quality Plan. Stop production if necessary due to critical quality defects. Conducts environmental compliance inspections of Project construction sites to monitor compliance with environmental requirements, contractual commitments, permits, and environmental management plans. Interprets applicable HSE standards and provides advice to project management to integrate into projects and facilities processes and procedures.

Develops and maintains data base for risk, training, assessment, loss and near-loss events, safety reporting processes, including incident investigations, safety meetings, and corresponding action reports. Prepares and issues monthly HSE performance reports. Assists team in development of HSE processes and procedures (Permit to Work, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Waste Management, Spill Preparedness and Response, Emergency Response, etc.). Maintains positive relationships with Line Supervision, Subcontractors, and regulatory enforcement representatives.
