University of Central Florida Graduating December 2025 Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics TECHNICAL SKILLS

Softwares/Hardware EXP: Arduino, Ansys, ALTIUM, CAD, Electrical Equip., Excel, FEA, MATLAB, Python, UAV Skills: Emulation, Integration, Physical Design, Power/Tech & Circuits, System-Level Testing, Validation WORK EXPERIENCE

Zoox - Foster City CA May 2024 - August 2024

Body and Closures design Engineer - Intern

Designed and implemented strain gauge and pneumatic sensors on vehicle doors to detect collisions during door closure, ensuring safety of vulnerable users while focusing on regions prone to user interaction while maintaining the A-surface aesthetic and keeping full functionality of door operation. Design is now patent pending.

Created a torque characterization bot for door actuators that uses microcontrollers to interpret raw data inputs from door bots in order to generate activation profiles for power supplies that control resistance and the actuation of the actuator.

Conceptualized, manufactured, and troubleshooted an electromagnetic cycling mechanism for latch validation using CATIA V6 and Arduino, with the goal of ensuring reliability and precise movements.

Controlled door motion systems using python conducting cyclic tests to identify performance trends and failure conditions in pitch and yaw scenarios. Analyzed motion paths and electrical signatures to inform product improvements and ensure reliability. Tesla - Sunnyvale CA January 2024 - May 2024

Failure Analysis Engineer - Intern

Analyzed HVAC compressor logs to identify failure conditions, isolating probable causes and designing targeted bench tests to replicate and study failures in a controlled environment in order to make design changes in the HVAC system.

Authored a technical report from independently conducted experiments on the different failure modes of MOSFET semiconductors outlining each failure modes root signature using failure analysis tools and identifying early failure symptoms using statistical analysis of electrical signals, increasing failure discernment rates and the ultimate reliability of a $20M a year warranty liability.

Built and managed a fault injection test bench with user documentation for electrical component testing and measuring.

Invented a modular service tool using CATIA and Solidworks for design while focusing on design requirements, GD&T principles for cast molds, DFM, DFA, and user experience. The tool streamlined high-fidelity component replacement, cutting warranty costs by $10M annually and service time by 80% while reducing material waste by 90%. Formula Society of Automotive Engineers - Orlando FL May 2023 - December 2023 UCF FSAE - Design Member

Designed and 3D printed chassis welding jigs for the welding team using SolidWorks improving manufacturing efficiency by 10%.

Engineered a muffler with integrated chambers to achieve destructive interference, reducing noise below competition thresholds.

Used SolidWorks FEA tools to conduct compressive loading simulation on the anti-intrusion plate to measure for deflection in various material structures in order to determine the optimal thickness which reduces total vehicle weight and is optimized for cost. Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Device Lab (REAL) - Orlando FL March 2021 - December 2023 Constructing Bio-mechanical Leg - Assistant Researcher Under Dr.Hwan Choi

Developed bracket system that eliminated counteractive torque from a functional torque sensor design, allowing reproducible and accurate voltage outputs from applied forces (read via CAN) through a friction-less design which reinforced stability in a leg replica.

Constructed a human leg replica with mechanically optimized components, incorporating DFM/DFA principles for cyclic testing.

Reduced higher-order polynomials using MATLAB and introduced function optimization to mitigate noise from data to model muscle forces through springs achieving a numerical 1-to-1 replication in force between spring constants and human muscles. LEADERSHIP

Major Responsibilities

Leading SolidWorks workshops teaching key features of the program in order to increase pass rate of the CSWA by 25% per section.

ResearchSHPE; Managing the pipe line for students to go from zero experience to lab positions through professional development. PERSONAL PROJECTS

Glaucoma Medication Application Adherence Device December 2024 - Present

Inventing an assistive device for patients with glaucoma to improve eye drop adherence with reliable, intuitive features.

Developing an ASIC using Circuitmaker to integrate sensors, speakers, functional buttons, and LCD screens into a minimal package. Useless Tools January 2025

Built a useless wrench that fits no standard metric being either too large or too small for any bolt, circular ends with no notches to ensure no grip in any case, all purposefully designed around a small moment arm to ensure difficulty of use in any case.

Devised a useless ruler with a cylinder-like shape preventing perfect zeroing, nonlinear distances, and gave the measurement indicator notch uncertainty to make the middle of the indicator indistinguishable for an overall hard-to-read/use design. Thirty Designs in Thirty Days September 2024

Conceptualized, printed, tested, and validated 30 user orientated items with principle driven designs in 30 days.

Designed a compliant mechanism imitating a chip bag clip, optimized for longevity by increasing yield strength of vulnerable areas.

Developed an ergonomic and aesthetic watering jug with directional capabilities that uses dynamic pressure as retention mechanism.
