This project was initiated to redesign a majority of the security related to their deployed Financials PS Suite. Sr. Functional Security Lead on the FM (Freddie Mac-Tyson’s Corner, VA) for their PS HCM v8.9 to v9.1 upgrade. During the first phase, I was responsible for the security requirements matrix along with a design plan document showing the strategy. Provided input for the project plan tasks in this phase to assist with scheduled begin and end dates. Developed strategy for payroll integration with ADP. 08/11- 01/12

Sr. Functional Security Lead on the WMATA (Washington Metro Area Transit Authority-Washington, DC) for their PS Financials v8.8 to v9.1 upgrade. The aggressive nature of this project required RAD security design and build. Design matrix was mapped for requirements and the technical security lead initiated scripts to build. Role build was based on User levels within a module. Some integration was created between the PS Financials and bolt-ons. 03/11- 10/11.

Sr. Security Lead on the NY State SFS (Albany, NY) PeopleSoft implementation as an IBM team member. This project included the implementation of all Financials modules for the NY State Office of Comptroller and Agency Finance. PS app v9.0. Created a Security Plan for the project and submitted for State review. Established a design model for security in the form of a configuration workbook for the build process. Designed a security solution to include SOA technology and re-engineer business processes (BPM) 06/10 – 03/11.

Sr. Security Lead on the fit/gap phase of the upgrade project at Cablevision, (Plainview, NJ) from v8.8 HCM to v9.1. This project included documentation and analysis of existing security model along with the incorporation of new business processes from the upgrade. The client requires a configuration plan for integrating Directory services into the upgraded HCM suite. 04/10-06/10.

Provided security analysis, design, build and test expertise as the Sr. Security consultant for ICF International (Fairfax, VA). The project involved updating the department security tree to reflect the current organizational structure and assist in decentralizing certain HCM functions while securing data. Reviewed and suggested updates to the LDAP configuration currently in place. The data security design was also translated into query security. 02/10-04/10.

Security SME consultant leading the upgrade for HCM from v8.8 to v9.0. Established a security strategy along with a support manual for ongoing maintenance. This upgrade at TeraData (Dayton, OH) also included a cleanup of older security objects left by the transition from corporate (NCR). Designed interfaces with Payroll outsourced vendor. 10/09-12/09.

Security lead/SME consultant responsible for an upgrade project involving HCM, FSCM, EPM and Portal from various older versions in Tools and Application to Tools v8.49.14 and Application v9.0. The HCM portion of the upgrade involved the addition of “Person Model” and implementing the Talent Acquisition Management, Candidate Gateway and Time and Labor modules. Designed a security solution to include SOA technology and re-engineer business processes (BPM). This project involved the mentoring of existing Government of Alberta, CA employees and using existing models as a basis to upgrade. As part of the Oracle Center of Excellence project, Ron was tasked with gathering information from multiple resources to map and analyze multiple business landscapes for Verizon Wireless, Inc. Security consultant responsible for the upgrade and re-implementation of Oracle (PS) security model for University Systems of Georgia (34 state universities-Athens, GA). This upgrade encompassed the entire existing Financials pillar along with additional functionality of Expenses and Purchasing (v7.5 to 8.9). Supported initiative to integrate HCM/Campus Solutions with Financials and implement a Single Signon solution between both pillars. Security Administrative lead for GTSI Corp. (Herndon, VA) Provided Security Administrator services for Oracle (PS) upgrades and production support. Responsibilities included Design, Implementation, Testing and Documentation for application security in Oracle (PS) HRMS, SCM/FSM, EPM and Portal v.8.9 environments. Planned and began implementation for an Oracle (PS) HCM upgrade from v.8.8 to 8.9 along with a tools upgrade to support the application. This upgrade involved resource training, task planning and aggressive design timelines at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee. 06/06-08/06.

As the Security Lead on the Reporting Strategy Project, implemented standards and redesign of PS Financials (v8.9) security at H&R Block. This project scope was to replace the current PS reporting tools and incorporate the EPM analytics. 11/05-05/06

Established a strategy and redesign of security at Talent Tree for the Staffing Front Office PS module. Integrated design with existing Finance and HRMS implementations. Recommended design changes for both modules to utilize full functionality for Front Office. 9/05-10/05.

Security Admin lead for GTSI Corp. responsible for post implementation support for PeopleSoft SCM. Review SOX audit reports and recommend solutions to reports. Interfaced with Business Analyst for updates to current security design. Recruit and train new Security Admin lead for full time replacement. 7/05-8/05

Application security lead for DIMHRS project at the Department of Defense. Worked in conjunction with the Information Assurance team to provide a secure architecture for PeopleSoft and 3.1m + end users. Implementation included full HRMS suite, Enterprise Portal, Netscape/SunOne Directory and EPM/Actuate Reporting tool. The database system was DB2/AIX supported by IBM. Provided support for Proof of Concept authentication tools for Tivoli and Netegrity. Trained the security admin team with basic security concepts and standards. Reviewed requirements and mapped out all application security designs to include, roles, permissions, data-row level, reporting and LDAP integration. Assess current security strategy and post implementation issues for multiple module PeopleSoft installation and upgrade, to develop a plan to standardize all security designs and configurations. The client security configuration included a recently upgraded Financials pillar (7.5-8.4x) GL, AP, AR and PO. The client also just went live with the HRMS pillar to include: HR, BA, Base Ben, T&L, and Payroll, which required production support and issue resolution.
