Responsible for planning and sequencing material ordering into the Syracuse Operations pipeline to prime production on the manufacturing floor. Provide oversight to the master scheduling, production control, warehouse/stockroom, and shipping and receiving teams on a daily basis to ensure we are managing our material stream into the factory and providing proper shipments out to our customers. Ensure close partnerships with quality and DCMA for shipping material CONUS and OCONUS, as well as partnerships across all functions and programs. Responsible for 2 Associate Managers and 55 additional direct report. Consults with Syracuse Manufacturing Director to ensure adequate staffing levels are met across the organization.

Central New York Regional Transportation Authority 1/2020-10/2022

Senior Director of Operations

Responsible for directing and supervising the overall activities of the Operations Department within the Central New York Region, Cayuga Region, Oswego Region and Oneida Region. Responsible to ensure safety policy, procedure and protocols are strictly followed. Directs and coordinates transportation, fleet maintenance, and facilities operations across four diverse locations. Coordinates activities through Union Officials (ATU580 and UPSEU) to ensure Collective Bargaining Agreement is followed as well as responds to grievances and administration of the union contract. Consults with Senior Vice President on a weekly basis to determine staffing levels and provide assessment as to the overall needs and direction of the diverse locations.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of 4 diverse operational regions and their attached customer care regions, 1 main distribution center and over 500 associates. Responsible for the leadership, training and development of 7 directors, 1 recruiter, 31 managers and over 500 associates. Maintaining the operational oversight of 9 different P&Ls, inbound and outbound distribution, inventory management, supply-chain oversight, home delivery, in home customer service, store customer service and the Company Contact Center.

Imperative cross-channel communication through administrative staff, sales, human resources, and legal team to ensure processes and procedures were correctly followed. Front line in determining supply chain needs for largest distribution center in the company, providing insight into orders to the merchandising team and correctly forecasting needs for high volume seasons throughout the year.

Liverpool Customer Distribution Center

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a multi-faceted region located in the heart of Central New York. Responsible for the leadership, training, and development of 5 managers and 92 associates while overseeing P&L, inbound and outbound distribution, inventory management, home delivery and customer service of a $65 million dollar delivery region.

Responsible for the consolidation of the Northern Distribution Center and the Liverpool Customer Service Center into the Liverpool Customer Distribution Center. This consolidation will combine an 800,000 square-foot facility full of 180,000 pieces of product of outbound distribution and the Customer Service Center’s $65 million dollar delivery Region into 1 organizational footprint equating to a 210-person operation.
