System Test Validation Intern at AMD August 2024 - December 2024
Debugged and optimized BIOS, firmware, FPGA, and BMC for improved system performance.
Updated operating systems and successfully unlocked CPU cores using soft fuse, followed by hard fusing on silicon, applying advanced knowledge of server hardware architecture.
Assembled reference boards within chassis, integrating CPUs, memory, I/O cards, and SSDs; conducted integration checks, firmware updates, and system health validations.
Managed rack and stack of systems in the AMD lab, performing light triage on validation systems, diagnosing hardware issues, performing component replacements and executing core-level test plans using the latest OS images and automation tools.
Collaborated with engineering teams to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, contributing to system-level validation.
UHCL Student Partnership Intern at Boeing – C17 Cargo Aircraft Intern January 2024 – May 2024
Inspect C-17 aircraft components and compare the observed serial numbers against the expected serial numbers listed in the maintenance documentation.
Utilized and became proficient in Teamcenter, an adaptable Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, for seamless project coordination and documentation.
Contributing to the overall success of the C-17 validation process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project objectives
Summer Data Science Camp Intern for UH - Energy Transition Intern May 2022 - July 2022
Learned about the latest data science techniques and how to apply them to energy-related problems with real world data.
Worked with leading experts in the field and networked with other students who are interested in data science.
Worked on real-world data sets and developed skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
ST Joseph IT Support August 2019 – November 2021
Provided IT support for hardware such as computers, servers, printers, and audiovisual equipment, ensuring the church’s tech systems ran smoothly.
Managed and maintained databases for membership information, donations, and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient operations.
Delivered IT training and technical support to staff and volunteers, improving overall system utilization and user experience.
Assisted in the setup and maintenance of church events, ensuring audiovisual and IT systems were fully operational.
PROJECTS
KIOSK Machine Web Scraper (UHCL)
Designed a software solution to retrieve data from the UHCL website, employing an RSS parser to extract and analyze the latest updates. Utilized Python for developing the program, ensuring real-time data integration and user-friendly interface enhancements.
Interfacing an I2C Smart Real-Time Clock with LPC4088QSB (UHCL)
Interfacing the DS1337 real-time clock chip with the LPC4088 via the I2C protocol, wrote a C program to set the time and date into the DS1337 and alternately display time from the DS1337 and room temperature from the DS1631 on a seven-segment display.
Embedded Systems Development (UHCL)
Wrote a C program to control the on-board LED1 of the LPC4088QSB. Subsequently, I wrote two programs; one program to toggle LED1 using the on-board User Switch and another to toggle an external LED using an off-board switch. I also developed a program for slowly brightening and dimming an externally connected LED using the AnalogOut pin and a loop to step values similar to a sine generator function.
Glass Breaking Sound Alarm System (UHCL)
Developed a sound detection system that remains inactive below 75 decibels and activates an alarm at higher
intensity sounds.
Tested to verify functionality with medium-range (75-104 decibels) and high-intensity sound triggers.
ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN COURCE FOR AEROSPACE TECHNICIAN Aug 2023 - Sep 2023
