Dear Mr. O’Riordan,

Please find a copy of my current resume for your review. I have professional and hands-on knowledge and experience with the most modern and sophisticated high-rise facilities in the Bay Area. I have experience with engineering software programs and monitoring systems. I also have experience with multiple aspects of HVAC systems, VFDs, VAVs, Motor Logic Plus by Square D and Life Safety systems.

I have worked as a chief engineer with and without a crew, as a stationary engineer as part of small and large teams (I am fluent in Spanish).

• My best quality is that I'm a fastidious organizer. Over the years at the Palo Alto Research Center, Embarcadero 4, the San Francisco Federal Building and AT&T Data Center, I have become proficient with the most modern engineering software combined with the newest computerized systems. I have been working with other professionals and have been trained to monitor critical systems hands-on and remotely. While at AGI Capital Group and Albion Pacific, I worked independently as a high-rise engineer. I organized and assisted in the change of antiquated systems to a new, computerized Metasys HVAC system. I also coordinated the conversion of an old boiler to a new thermal, steam-heating system. I handled all communications with city inspectors and vendors--receiving bids, budget decision-making and ordering supplies. I managed all aspects of my position in a timely fashion. In my experience with the UCSF Medical Center and Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, I had the opportunity to interact with different departments on various projects. I am self-motivated and a quick learner. I pride myself on organization, neatness, timeliness, and attention to detail. I have the ability to work with people of all backgrounds in a cooperative manner. Thank you for reviewing my credentials. Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you. My references are available should you request. Sincerely,

David Diaz
