Business Intelligence

Designed, programed and rolled out a Business Intelligence reporting system utilizing Power BI as the presentation tool. The system combines over 30 SQL databases and includes data from other systems like the time and expense, procurement, contracts and consultant capabilities. Power BI reports include Dashboard and drill down reports to view transaction level records. The reports are used and trusted by both the Accounting and Finance departments as well as the Project Management and Business Development. Row level security was designed to meet the security standards required by our clients. Training sessions are held monthly for new users. Developed customizations to ERP via API and SQL code to improve system functionality and enforce business rules. Supported a worldwide user base.

Forecast and Analysis

Created a Forecasting and Analysis app by utilizing a combination of Power Apps, Power BI and Excel. This app included forecasting inputs, current expense analysis, employee utilization and allow for the addition of TBD staff in the forecast.

In addition, designed, programmed, and implemented Data Explorer application to maintain a data dictionary and allow for ad-hoc query building and report writing. Worked as a liaison between the Accounting and Technical Service departments. I supported corporate development, implementation, use, and enhancement of mainframe and PC/LAN-based accounting systems.
