Grievance and Appeals contact for the State of Oklahoma’s, new healthcare delivery model, SoonerSelect by assisting the agency and those contracted with compliance in their Grievance and Appeals processes.
Manage approximately 700 provider audit and Medicaid beneficiary administrative appeal requests filed with the agency to determine jurisdiction and compliance.
Developed and maintenance of legal case file folders (paper and electronic) to contain appeal requests received by email and U.S. mail and facsimile along with other various legal documents.
Responsible for the administrative court records/file management system; imaging records in preparation for retention, and electronic storage of court folders in compliance with Disposition schedule.
Review, file and issue orders of the court, motions, and pleadings to Office of General Counsel, opposing counsel and agency units.
Composition of business letters to inform beneficiary status of the appeal request, hearing notices, extension of Medicaid coverage during the appeals process using MS Word.
Docket, monitor and record administrative hearings using MS TEAMS and MS Outlook.
Maintain an Excel spreadsheet of all cases filed for statistical data, reporting and tracking.
Accurately maintain administrative court docket for hearings to be called.
Strong writing, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to compose, proofread and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents.

Provide administrative support for administrative law judges at the OHCA and the Office of Attorney General.
Work closely with OHCA’s Office of General Counsel.
