Position: Design/ Implementing Engineer

Reviewing and critiquing design change packages prepared by SNC / AE Organizations

for integration of Operating Units with the new AP1000 Units Obtaining Plant impacts and processing design changes for implementation approval

Providing technical guidance to Planners in preparation of implementation work orders

Monitoring field work, generating and processing field change requests during design implementation

Interfacing with Work Management, Operations, Projects etc. during the entire life cycle of the design change

Position: Senior Technical Specialist

Responsible for preparation/ review of documents required to implement NRC Enforcement actions associated with Fukushima accident response. These include but are not limited to Flexible portable system documents, supporting evaluations, design change packages and Overall implementation Plan strategies. Responsible for presentations of the documents to the Client, incorporating comments and obtaining approval.

VOGTLE NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS UNITS 3&4, WAYNESBORO, GA January 2012 to February 2013

Position: Project Engineer

Responsible for technical direction and oversight of construction and modification activities performed by Shaw, GPC and other contract organizations for two new AP1000 units at Plant Vogtle.

Determined, implemented and monitored mitigation plans to ensure that work performed does not adversely affect operating units. Coordinated with Site Design, Work controls, Operations and other departments of Operating Units to facilitate implementation of activities affecting common facilities.

Prepared long term plans and schedules for completion of ancillary buildings and structures associated with Units 3 and 4.

VOGTLE NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS UNITS 1&2, WAYNESBORO, GA June 2003 to Dec 2011

Position: Senior Design Engineer

Responsible for design development, implementation and closure of Design Changes.

As a member of the design team, worked closely with other Plant departments and Management staff to identify immediate and long-term needs of the facility. Developed design change packages, containing Mechanical, Electrical and Civil/ Structural scope to provide the most effective and prompt resolution. Scheduled and supervised implementation.

Performed functional testing, Return-to-service and close-out of Design change packages.

February 1986 to June 2003

Position: Senior Engineer

As a Modifications Engineer, provided support for development of design changes that included Mechanical, Electrical and Civil/ Structural scope of work. Processed completed design changes and supervised implementation. Carried out functional testing and returned systems back to service. As a Technical support Engineer, performed in-service inspections and wrote testing and maintenance procedures for several systems.

As a Startup Engineer, developed and implemented test procedures for Fire suppression and detection systems during the construction and start-up phases of Units 1&2.

Position: Level II Startup Engineer

Performed all Start-up activities on Fire Protection system. Coordinated with Site Engineers and Constructors to ensure that the sub-systems were released per established procedures.

Prepared specific test procedures and placed the sub-systems in service after satisfactory completion of testing.

WOLFCREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, NEW STRAWN, KANSAS March 1984 to February 1985

Position: Level II System Startup Engineer

Prepared and implemented test procedures for flushing systems and testing individual components.
