1972 – 74 Southland Life Assistant General Agent
Hired and trained agents to sell Life and Health insurance
1974 – 80 American National Insurance Company
General Agent
Hired and trained agents multi line sales. The number one agency in the world for the company for five years.
1980 – 1988 Bought a small personal lines agency and grew it to a commercial Casualty agency specializing in the Oil and Gas business dealing with Lloyds of London and large reinsurers.
1988 – 2021 Chairman/CEO Assurance Resources Inc. Created a specialty product for the workers Compensation market. From the brokerage of new product, the company grew to a MGA/MGU operation with underwriting and claims control. Operational jurisdictions include proprietary software development for billing, accounting, sales and claims management. Day to day operational issues Sales in 12-million-dollar range in 2021.
