Research Project in Computer Vision and Image Processing University of Science 09/2023 - 05/2024
Participate in research projects about tasks in image processing and computer vision In this project, we aim to develop a deep learning network that enhances the resolution of a single image using the SRGAN model. We modify some residual blocks within the model to potentially improve performance. The network is trained using the DIV2K dataset and tested on the Set5 and Set14 datasets. Our goal is to achieve performance on par with the original SRGAN paper. Additionally, we will compare our method with several state-of-the-art (SoTA) approaches and evaluate its effectiveness based on standard benchmarks. GIthub: DN2803/xlav-srgan-pytorch
This project involves developing, presenting, and fine-tuning a coarse-to-fine deep learning network to enhance event recognition in personal photo collections using the PEC dataset. Through this approach, we aim to achieve an accuracy of 86% on the dataset.

Participate in building a mobile application that supports creating cylocgraph images This project focuses on developing a mobile application using OpenGL ES on Android through Android Studio. The application serves as a simple, easy-to-use graphics support tool designed to minimize the time required to create cyclograph images. We implement various traditional methods to draw basic objects from scratch using only OpenGL ES, and subsequently develop a method to create cyclographs.
