Senior level techno-commercial professional with chemical engineering background and core expertise of over 40years in EPC turnkey Projects in Petrochemical, minerals,power, pharma, bio ethanol and mining sector.

Leadership experience in project delivery operations of multi-million dollar( 10 to 300 million USD) multi-disciplinary projects from inception to commissioning with technical and commercial success. . Excellent in managing project interfaces and dependencies and multi-disciplinary coordination to bring out key deliverables in time, and achieve milestones with highest standards of safety and quality, while optimizing cost and turnaround time.

Worked as President-Projects ( Project head )for 8 years on setting up of 200 million USD Maleic anhydride chemical project in UAE as a Joint venture. Also worked on, Malic acid Project Conceptualization cost estimation with ISEGEN technology .Due to financial viability issue MA & Malic acid project was dropped.

Worked as Project Manager in Pharma / API plant projects for about 8 years. Worked on setting up of Bulk drug batch process plant and Excipient plant, clean rooms with GMP and at present working as advisor with an API plant in India.

Worked as Project manager for 2 years on projects to set up Bio Ethanol plant from Grains in India.

Worked as President Projects (Project Head )for 2 years on setting up of Thermal power projects( 300 million USD) in India

Worked for 5 years as Project & operation team Head (VP-Operations) which included Projects, procurement & construction management and co-ordination with Engineering and finance divisions for successful implementation of EPC projects, led a team of 150 professionals. Completed projects like Alumina handling and processing plant, copper plants, lime plants etc. Copper project of Vedanta in Zambia.

Worked as Project Manager and Executed Nitric Acid project in India, from concept to commissioning.

Worked as Project Manager for 9 years on setting up of Carbon Black plant in India and subsequent commissioning and operation of the plant.

Worked as Project Engineer in Republic of Yemen for setting up of Dairy plant.

Worked as Project Engineer to set up Cement plant projects in India.

Chemical plant Operation

Worked as Operation in charge of medium scale Chemical plant with a team of 50 to 100 person. Had exposure of operating a Carbon black plant and API bulk drug plant, Carbon black plant was DCS operated with technology from Cabot USA, while API plant was a batch process chemical plant. I was also responsible for process engineering construction, commissioning subsequently operation and maintenance of these plants.
