Leadership and People Management

- Direct and oversee grant implementation, ensuring that all strategic objectives are met through proper design, staffing, implementation and quality assurance.

- Provides critical guidance in enabling understanding, operationalizing, monitoring and managing the grant proposal and grant compliance with support from Grant team and project liaisons

- Manage project Staff according to the HR policies and procedures related to the Grant project

- Supervise, coach and mentor the project staff to ensure high quality performance towards achieving the project goals.

- Identify and address project related competency gaps of staff and partners to carry out quality work

- Manage conflicts and diversity within the team to ensure peaceful working environment to increase team productivity

- Escalate grant management issues early and openly; resolve grant management issues quickly and fully

- Provide spiritual leadership to the grants team. Attend and participate in weekly chapel services and daily devotional meetings.

- Provide leadership with the partnership developnet with Government structure, Private, coorporates, donors and other private stakeholders Assist in the preparation of grant proposals to major donors, when necessary

Networking and liaison

- Develop Networks and relationships with relevant Government Departments, International consultants and WVL APs and departments to obtain necessary services for project implementation.

- Establish project steering committee and attend regular project steering committee meetings to present project progress, any concerns and challenges related to project implementation.

- Facilitate donor and stakeholder field visits and ensure appropriate donor visibility as per visibility guidelines.

- Ensure all assessments, baseline and evaluations are done following the set standards of the project in a timely manner.

- Facilitate to develop all the project plans within the given time frame.(Design, M&E Plans, Annual Plans, DIPs, Resource allocation plans etc.)

- Coach and provide guidance to project team to ensure successful execution of Project Implementation Plan (PIP) & detail Implementation Plan.

- Develop Scope of work for international consultants and National technical advisors.

- Facilitate regular discussions with International consultants, WVL technical advisors and the project team to ensure quality technical inputs for project implementation.

- Mobilize technical, human, financial resources and assist stakeholders and community partners to identify and mobilize community resources needed for project implementation.

- Ensure effective monitoring system of project output and outcome.

- Facilitate Divisional & provincial level discussions including reflection and learning Read and understand all contract documents.

- Provide support and supervision to ensure all child sponsorship related activities are completed efficiently.

- Continually monitor the implementation of the project to ensure that the project systems and staff are working to achieve the project goals and objectives and that the project is maintaining organization and donor accountability standards.

Grant compliance

- Train project staff on all standards, policies and guidelines on regular basis.

- Create and Maintain the standard documentation as per the Grant requirement.

- Support to finalize the evidence base documentation.

- Ensure an effective monitoring system of project output and outcome.

- Facilitate Divisional & provincial level discussions including reflection and learning.

- Facilitate regular discussions with Govt. technical advisors, WVL technical advisors and the project team to ensure quality technical inputs for project implementation. Financial Accountability

- Manage grant/project budget within approved spending levels and ensure accurate and timely financial reports to donors and SO staff.

- Manage Resources with integrity and stewardship in compliance with WVL’s and Grant financial policies and procedures.

- Grant is delivered on time and within allocated budget Financial reporting is accurate and delivered on time.

- Approve project expenditures as per specific financial policies and procedures of the Grant and WVL LOA.

- Ensure project spending is in consistent with the planned project budget, prudent and spent in accordance with donor rules and regulations to ensure low risk audits. Reporting

- Close cooperation with Regional Manager/Designate and National Office IRDM lead for implementation of the IRDM objectives as well as close collaboration within the NO IRDM Unit on donor positioning lessons learned, grant health and quality improvements.

- Facilitate to timely produce and submit monthly, mid - year and Annual reports as per grant requirement.

- Ensure that all reports are highly accurate, comprehensive, well-documented, and will ensure the credibility of the project.

- Compile professional and high quality management reports for major donors in a timely manner, meeting donor reporting requirements.

- Ensure lessons learnt are captured and documented to share with donors and relevant partners.

- Facilitate to provide Ministry reports as per requirement in a timely manner Academic and Provisional qualification
