Retained as independent Expert Witness by major international law firm – Watson, Farley & Williams - on behalf of London International Court of Arbitration (LCIA). Case involved an EPIC contract relevant to a USD 1 billion major offshore oil & gas development offshore Malaysia, incorporating a 6500-ton Float-over Topsides. Principally responsible for objective evaluation of overall project management performance by oil company and EPIC contractor to determine contractual compliance/non-compliance. Developed four separate detailed reports on various project execution matters and provided expert witness testimony to LCIA Arbitration Tribunal relevant to dispute resolution.

This gas/condensate field lies approximately 500 km West North West of Darwin, and 350 km East South East from the island of Timor, in the Timor Sea. The Bayu-Undan Gas Recycle Development is a liquids stripping and dry gas re-injection project scheduled for start-up in 4th Qtr 2003, and it is comprised of primary drilling and production facilities as follows:

Additionally responsible for Construction Management Team organization and staffing, and Risk Management Plan implementation. Due to Phillips – Norway corporate downsizing, relocation of a Phillips-employee Construction Manager from Norway to the Project occurred in March 2000, at which time the Construction Manager position was handed-over.
