I have 17 years of hospital-based experience with different applications, and I have 7 years of IS experience. Over the years, I have learned and acquired a lot of skills within my current role of Systems Analyst Sr. I have worked closely with many application systems including RadNet, Discern Analytics Reporting, EMR systems such as Powerchart, FirstNet, and SurgiNet. Also including HNA User, Task Access, Prefmaint, Privmaint, and more applications. I also have experience in Project Management with inception of the many projects I have lead for my team as well as prepared training material for different applications, processes and workflows. I have led many meetings including being the facilitator for Integrated Testing. My experience and skills I have acquired over the years have prepared me to go to the next level.

I also have experience with being a supervisor and team lead for Florida Hospital Waterman for almost 4 years combined. I was responsible for 18 team members in ensuring all work expectations were met for the team. I also participated in the Gallup Survey where we increased our score 3 years in a row. I understand how to deal with people and how to lead a team. I am understanding to everyone’s needs but also at the same time making sure the task at hand is being completed in a timely fashion.

I do have the education for this position as well. I have my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. I plan to go back to school to get my Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology. I also plan to get certification in Project Management.

Systems Analyst Senior for the IS Clinical Applications Team:

Conducts systems analysis of different issues and system/application domains. Including testing and validating of many applications with Cerner related workflows and processes.

Monitors and maintains the Service Now ticketing system by troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving all ticketing issues.

Provides effective resolutions to issues and escalated problems with knowledgeable support and quality service.

Increased the customer service percentage to 95% and maintained this percentage by completing all Service Now tickets timely while continuing to use the BayCare values and policies which strive for quality care to customers.

Complete and maintain an Identity Access Management system to ensure users have correct positions, credentials, and access to various Cerner applications. Create and maintain user accounts for new hires and current employees, as well as generic accounts needed for different processes and workflows.

Leverage queries/CCLs in obtaining and auditing large sets of data, reviewing system logs to determine usage levels and system security to target insufficiencies and to implement appropriate solutions.

oAccomplished implementing the RadNet application system successfully which involved moving users from the RIS system to a more streamlined Cerner application where this minimizes potential risks and errors involving diagnostic testing for patients.

oCoordinate and organize project-specific resources, including people, tools, and equipment to successfully deliver product for integration testing.

oComplete the yearly Code Upgrade for the hospital’s EMR system including successfully completing the project objectives including the domain strategy and change control, while also working with the Upgrade Center on understanding solution functionality in use and to prioritize issue post testing. Ensure integration testing is completed, and issues are reported to the Upgrade Center including interfaces, ops jobs, printing and 3rd party testing.

oSuccessfully completed the Between Visit Project which included streamlining the process and providing clinics with an encounter to document and order diagnostic tests/labs when a patient is between visits or in preparation for a future visit.

oSuccessfully completed the Discern Analytics 2.0 Project which continues to provide high level data analytics reporting gauging consumer confidence in real time.

oDelivered a quality pre-registration solution for patients by implementing the Phreesiapad which uses self-serve to streamline patient intake.

oSuccessfully implemented the Illumicare ribbon integration into the Cerner EMR, which in turn reduced the cost of medications, labs, and radiology tests per admission. Gives clinicians real-time, patient-specific cost and risk data at the point of care so they can make the best decisions for their patients.

oSuccessfully implemented the Curaspan-nHDischarge project which helps the case managers and doctors during the patient's discharge process in expediting the referral and discharge process of patients’ info being streamlined in one area within the provider searching tool.

oCompleted the Go Live Project involving the naviHelath nHDischarge which involved theCase Management, Post Acute Center and inpatient Behavioral Health areas in automating the post-acute referral process from referral to discharge notification, streamlining the process for referrals and increasing the efficiency and decreasing the length of stay.
