Responsibilities include Factory Lay out set up and formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies and to help the operations team to grow and become productive and efficient.

Responsible to monitor, manage and improve the technical aspects of the following sub functions: - Production, Purchase, Stores, logistics, design, PPC, QC & Execution.

Manage technical activities of outsourced vendors with the assistance of Purchase & Production depts.

Company has a strong presence in flat Cold rolled steel Medium, High & Special Alloy Carbon Steel products as in coils, it’s converted into Razor Blade, Creasing Printer Rules, Sharp Edge Printer rule with different Bevels, color tempered coils and Bearing steel Products. These products are using our day-to-day usage as Razor Blades and Printer Rules & Bearing steel surgical Blades, color tempered products are in Packing/Printing, FMGC, Hospital & Automobile Industries. The Plant is setup with produces Closed tolerance products from various Precision Machine Sections. (4Hi-Mill, continuous Annealing, Slitting, Polishing Lines)

JOB PROFILE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To Technically plan, directly organize and controlling with Factory set up responsibility over all erection, commissioning and operation activities with support functions and in order to achieve the budgeted Targets for the day to day, Monthly and yearly, including quality, safety and cost-effective management of resources. Direct and guide department heads in defining goals and objectives and develop strategies to meet and evaluate those goals. Ltd., MUMBAI. This is first of its kind in India, Technical collaboration by PRO-ECO & NELSON STEEL, CANADA. At SGL I had an opportunity to work along with Japanese and Canadian team and could get their appreciation by successfully from civil work stage, equipment erection and commissioned. Hands on Experience to operated Project machineries are kept in place for Erection and commissioning.

JOB PROFILE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Green field Project: Coordinate between indigenous machine suppliers and contractors for different schemes such as FRP Tanks, Pipe Lines Hot & Cold water, Hydraulic lines Layouts, systems and machine equipment’s etc. which are inter connecting with the pi line for Erection and same for the associated sections, Inspect the equipments at manufacturing vendor’s place and same as approved or modified any changes as required at there or at the site. Worked in Cold-Rolling Mill complex and was associated with Project & Production sections of 400mm width High Carbon Steel strip 4HI- Cold-Rolling Mill, Cold bath HCL pickling, Bell Annealing, Muffle Furnace, C.R Slitter, De-burring and Polishing sections.
