• Go take a look at the job to see about any safety issues and what exact tools we needed such as impacts combination wrench, rigging, respirator if needed.

• If necessary rig up to pipes or valves before unbolting flanges.

• Slowly unbolted flanges with 2 combination wrenches from the bottom on the opposite side that you would be standing on case there's still any product in the line or valve.

• After removing half the bolts minus one remove the old gasket and check both flanges to see if they need cleaning.

• Replace gasket, then cross bolt flanges snugged.

• Put in the rest of the bolts and continue tightening bolts with combination wrench.

• Then use 1 inch impact to tighten bolts a little more. Two double check bolts use ball ping hammer and hammer wrench to see if any bolts are loose.

• Run a water and air hose to do a hydro test to check for any leaks.

• After getting valve, or pipe pressured up to recommend pressure we would let it sit for 15 minutes to see if the pressure would drop.

• If so we would spray water and detergent to find the leak.

• Turn off air, drain the water and tighten up where the leak was spotted then pressure equipment back up till it holds then call for an operator.

• With a job requiring a full-faced respirator, we would run the lines to the job.

• Make sure all bottle are full before anyone goes under fresh air.

• The guys who are doing the job would make sure their 30; minute bottles are full, clean the inside of the respirator, use new filters then get suited out with a tyvex, rubber boots, gloves and tape them off, and put on the respirator check for a complete seal by tighten mask, and covering both filters Galley Hand
