Assisted CFO with financial package, insurance renewal, & B2B eCommerce software issues.

Interim VP/Controller – Joined onsite with the new CEO & CFO in reorganizing, training, & reinvigorating the Finance/Accounting processes, procedures, & 40+ person Team of this PE backed $400+ M, multi-entity (20+), multi-site (120+), multi-state (FL, KY, AZ, CA), healthcare provider, with over 2,000 employees, based in FL. Successfully closed the books for 2022, managed the audit, the implementation of ASC 606 & 842, the OBS for 7 acquisitions in 2022, & the transition to the new, permanent Controller.

Interim CFO/Controller/Finance Director - Reorganized and managed all Finance & Accounting functions of a PE backed, ABA, 20+ office, 1,200+ employee, autism service-provider headquartered in the Bay area. Hired and trained Team, integrated an acquisition, closed the books monthly, ran the audit, fine-tuned the reporting process and package, while strategically managing with other C-leaders and departments in growing the business.

VP Finance – PE backed Dental Lab Rollup - Reduced month-end close process by over 10 days by working closely with all departments, especially Sales & Marketing and Operations.

Managed the Finance Team (Controller, Accounting Manager, A/P, A/R, & PR), reviewed/ prepared JEs, and reviewed all account reconciliations in preparing the Reporting Package for the PE Investors and Lenders.

Renegotiated security contracts, reduced monthly spend by 2/3’s, and secured over $65k of new equipment at zero cost.

Increased cashflow by refocusing A/R Team on high-value collections, and working with Sales Team to properly onboard new customers.

Prepared supporting schedules for Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Insurance, and Accrued Expenses.

Renegotiated the credit card processing contracts, cut fees by 25%, and decreased reimbursement hold to next day.
