Victory Farms Kenya Limited: Maintenance Manager – June 2023 to date A key member within Victory Farms Operations department responsible for managing and maintaining all the company’s equipment and facilities in Kenya as follows: 1. Manage workshop activities: heavy plant equipment and machinery repairs, farm automotive trucks, welding exercises, carpentry, plumbing, and refrigeration and cold storage equipment repairs.

2. Identify and ensure completion of corrective maintenance

• Conduct periodic inspections of facilities to identify and solve maintenance issues

• Diagnose, test, and measure equipment anomalies / faults, locate faults and identify Root Cause for Corrective Action to ensure continued operations and availability of the power in the plant/ equipment for optimal utilization of the equipment.

3. Complete preventative maintenance of equipment

• Identify and create, where necessary, preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities with the goal of minimizing the amount of corrective maintenance

• Ensure adherence to maintenance plans to ensure equipment availability and minimize loss time

4. Manage mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractors

• Hire and manage contractors to complete identified works as necessary, ensuring price and quality are met

5. Strategy development and implementation.

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance, as well as new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Maintenance activities.

Leading the production, processing, and engineering team in the day-to-day operations of the company, including work schedules, equipment schedules, and service standards.

Troubleshooting machine breakdowns and providing preventive maintenance services by analyzing mechanical problems and implementing corrective action plans.
