Lead the Ecommerce Group of size 25 in digitizing the processes associated with leasing models. I was responsible for all Internet software product requirements, design and development. Led software development teams in building large-scale systems. Managed the software development lifecycle using Rational Unified Process (RUP), WebSphere Studio 5.0, WebSphere Application Server 5.0 and Oracle 8i. Applications Included

• Submittal Service-This was a 2 part J2EE service that sends and receives XML documents to communicate the credit application submittal process for all GE Capital applications. It consisted of all the java packages needed to send and receive XML documents associated with processing credit applications. The first part allowed users to instantiate a credit application value object and use a sending service API. This sending API uses SOAP to communicate with the second part of the system accepted the credit applications and yielded all types of responses. The sending part received responses and processes them. The receiving Submittal Service EJB accepted XML credit applications, processed them and responded with acknowledgements and decisions and other XML documents such as comments and quotes etc. This complete system used JMS and message driven services to implement the functionality. • DVF Offline Rich SOAP Client-This was a Java Web Start application that uses SWING client to do pricing models, generate quotes and complete credit applications offline. Application allowed users to print well- formatted PDF documents. Once connected via SOAP, XML credit applications were automatically submitted to a submittal service that processes the credit applications. Prior to submittal, pricing models were updated and client cache is synchronized with server.

• Leasing Source-J2EE leasing application used STRUTS for the presentation tier and J2EE Core Java Design Patterns for EJB middle tier. Used Container Managed Persistence (CMP).

• Common Document Service (CDS)-This was an EJB service for creating legal documents. It enabled dynamic interviews for the user and generated legal documents in PDF format. This system used STRUTS MVC and J2EE Core Design Patterns for the middle tier. It was an EJB systems that runs on UNIX and communicates using SOAP to an Windows 2000 SOAP service utilizing HotDocs online for dynamic JavaScript interviews and ActivePDF for RTF to PDF conversion. Senior Java Architect was responsible for managing the teams that modeled and developed JSP/EJB applications using J2EE Sun Design Patterns based on GoF. Team sizes ranged from 10-50 designers and developers. Responsible for the GEAppFramework which was used for all custom web applications using J2EE technology and includes JSP, XML, JMS, SWING and J2EE frameworks. Technically led development teams associated with Cap Gemini Ernst and Young (CGEY), Birlasoft Inc and Tata Consulting Services. Applications Included

• Vendor Flow Decisioning (VFD) made up of 1000s of JSPs and 25 Session and 10 Entity EJBs Modeled. VFD enabled credit application submittals and used EJB external services associated with searching, credit bureau calls, auto decisioning, oracle workflow and notification etc.

• Panther Asset Evaluation Engine (PAVE) made up of 100 JSPs, 5 Session EJBs

• Pave Maintenance Utility (PMU) a SWING 1.1 Applet with 20 JPanels, 1 Session Faced stateful EJB, 17 stateless EJBs modeled after the J2EE sun design patterns; object values, object value assemblers, value list handlers and daos

• Modeled the components was done using Together Control Center 6.0 and Rational XDE. All development was done using IBM WSAD 5.0, Web Gain Studio 4.5 (including Visual Café and Quality Analyzer) and Toad/Oracle8. Application Servers used were Web sphere 5.0, Web Logic 6.0 and Tomcat 4.0. Performance analyzer used was JProbe 4.0.

Architect was based on Web Logic 5.1 and Oracle8i and used JSP, EJB, JNDI, startup objects etc. All development was done using Webgain/VisualCafe and Toad/Oracle8.
