Other duties consisted of serving as ranger, and picking the range to assure plenty of range balls for the following shift as well as maintaining the area around the cart barn. I also set up carts for tournaments as needed.

I provided lessons upon request to our patrons due to my golf expertise. My duties were divided between Pro Shop, Starter, and Head of Outside Operations. Pro Shop assignments included knowledge of computer systems for data entry and cancellation of tee times, etc., and maintaining the professional appearance of the Shop. Opening duties included printing out tee sheets, along with setting out cash drawers. Closing duties included reconciling drawer to daily start amount; placing receipts and money in daily envelope with credit card report and coupons; vacuuming; turning off lights; locking doors, and setting nightly alarm. Starter duties included normal starter speech, maintaining clean and up-to-date starter sheet; and sending tee groups off (both front and back sides) to ensure players kept to a four- hour pace as closely as possible.
Head of Outside Operations duties included setting up needed carts; setting up driving range stands; setting out any signs needed for cart use; setting bags on carts for customers as needed; picking up range ball baskets periodically; maintaining sand buckets on all carts as well as big sand buckets; keeping outside areas clean and free of trash; maintaining rotation of all carts; and cleaning all carts as they came off the 18th hole. As the supervisor, I also set and ran weekly schedules along with training shifts. Other duties included any other responsibilities needed as a team member. I also oversaw my staff’s work ethics to ensure they provided as close to five-star service as possible. Outside Staff Member.
