Contributed to production test software development and test board circuits debugging of cutting-edge product Ultrasonic Distance Sensor, a system on chip real-time embedded system.
Assisted hardware engineer in debugging circuits of Ultrasonic Sensor embedded system.
oRead python code and test out functionality of relevant python code functions using hardware tools such as Saleae Logic Pro16 and high-speed oscilloscope Tektronix TBS2204B. Modify and add python functions as needed for new Ultrasonic Sensor product.
oTeamed up and took care of coding and debugging mode step control during board level debugging, while circuits expert checking into the hardware side.
Led on software side in delivering Python programs that
oUtilizes existing drivers to handle SPI communications among various on-board devices, including but not limited to STM32 Neucleo, Microchip microcontrollers, CMOS Switch, I/O expander, and other peripheral devices.
oCoded procedures according to OTP(One-Time-Programmable Memory) full map.
oMulti unit tests in parallel were achieved with both Multiprocessing and Multithreading applications in Python programming.
oIntegrated Keysight Function Generator control, and temperature oven control into test automations.
Further developed a pre-existed C#/Python/C++ integrated software programs for production hardware testing on embedded test boards, team worked with GIT and Jenkins on version control and code updates. Program top level is written in C#, sometimes call C++ DLL files to control some components on the board, it also uses Restful API to call test sequences and procedures written in Python.
Further developed a pre-existed C coded program to add new test for new product that is running on a Microchip micro controller controlled mother board and daughter board EVK, and within PuTTY environment.
Total experience with C#, C++, and C coding is about one year altogether.
