S&P Global Ratings, Way We Work/Lean Management Team - Lean Coach 2017 - 2019
●Digital First: Saved $732K USD in expense via process and policy changes identified from detailed Value Stream Mapping of finance functions across all divisions and SPGI Corporate. Project included examining existing finance processes, as well as defining a vision for the future of Finance at S&P, including opportunities for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and systemization of distributed/manual processes.
●Ratings Customer Experience: Visually mapped the Ratings Customer Journey; Interviewed commercial and analytical colleagues; Prepared and co-facilitated a workshop to better understand customer touchpoints. These efforts lead to a customer experience Strategic Initiative for ratings.
●Vendor Governance Lean Initiative: Focused on how to create a faster and simpler Vendor Governance process impacting 3,500 third-party vendor contracts accounting for 668MM USD spend in 2018. Identified 150 issues across all S&P Global divisions causing multi-level approvals to take 20 days on average to complete. Formed small teams to establish causality and design solutions, culminating in the second workshop where 75 improvement ideas were presented and prioritized.
