PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Protolabs Manufacturing December 2020 to Jan 2025

Scrum Master and Product Owner – Sr Business Analyst

Throughout my term of employment was promoted and given additional roles numerous times.

(Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner).

Led Global IT (Networking, Systems and Services) teams responsible for building and maintaining the global network, Azure cloud infrastructure and HR systems. This was concurrent with leading a remote Manufacturing Software development team responsible for building and maintaining the ES, MES and Scheduling software for our plants in the US and Germany. This included C#, Java, SQL, API’s, Datadog, Angular and AzDo delivery pipelines.

Improved the IT agility by implementing Kanban style workflow management, and leading standups with stakeholders, teams and management.

Reduced the IT redundancy by building out Azure Dev Ops dashboards to clearly indicate priority, and highlight duplication between teams. This saved teams approximately 10 hours of work per week.

Led and managed the 3DP Manufacturing Software team through 3 large scale projects. o DFM (Design for Manufacturing) project that reduced defective parts and therefore reduced rework, improved customer confidence, and provide a labor and material cost savings of over $3,000,000 annually.

o Market Based Lead Times was developed to ensure our lead times and pricing were competitive with the market. It also gave customers the opportunity to pay for speed. Rather than a single lead time and price for custom parts, this project provided 3 levels of speed and pricing for a customer to choose from when ordering parts. The outcome of this project resulted in annual increase of nearly $4,000,000 in 3DP revenue. o ESSI scheduling software. An in house developed manufacturing scheduling software to replace an expired off the shelf solution that was in use. Building in house gave a market advantage by strategically bundling customer orders into a single platform reducing machine time and material waste. Additionally, this new software reduced scheduler man hours. This project created an annual cost savings of approximately $400,000.

Created a feature & story map for the ESSI project and facilitated the project estimation process.

Met regularly with the ESSI product manager, software architect and development leads to discuss and finalize the technical design of new features.

Owned, organized & prioritized the features & stories in the team’s backlog in accordance with the stakeholder requests and identified dependencies in Azure Dev Ops.

Documented features’ high-level description, scope, benefits & dependencies.

Worked to determine MVP (minimum viable product), and then incremental rollouts.

Managed KPI and metric creation, risk mitigation and communications to stakeholders.

Executed multi-week to multi-year projects in Scrum, Kanban and Agile methodologies

Decomposed features into user stories and drafted descriptions & acceptance criteria.

Created wireframes & form mockups using Adobe XD and Figma to validate user requirements and increase the team’s understanding of the requested software.

Familiarized the SCRUM team with user stories requirements and addressed questions from team members throughout the sprint.

Facilitated & lead SCRUM ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, daily SCRUM, Features & Stories Grooming Sessions, Sprint Reviews, Product Manager Demos and Sprint Retrospectives.

Facilitated SCRUM process discussions to uncover root causes of inefficiencies. This helped to identify ways to predict & stabilize team velocity. Avenu Insights 2018-2020
