Alcon Research in Sinking Spring, PA

As a change agent I continue to assist Alcon with providing vision, confidence and principles to develop and execute best-in-class HSE systems and programs locally and at the Global level. This has been demonstrated by transforming APD’s accident/incident management program, hazardous energy control program and creating standard reports and/or dashboards through HSEnet (i.e. Enablon) and defining the site(s) environmental management system (i.e. ISO 14001). The reports previously mentioned have been and continue to improve the sites HSE cultural and transparently communicate Global & Local HSE goals, objectives and key performance indicators all while developing HSE leaders by providing the knowledge and confidence to make the right decision(s). In addition to the aforementioned, the following programs continue to be enhanced to ensure HSE competency needs are met: Hazard Communication, Waste Management disciplines, Machine Safety, Chemical Hygiene Plan (including Biosafety and Radiation safety), Ergonomics, Emergency Action/Response plan, environmental compliance and contractor safety.
