This DC served the entire continental US and included intake of parts for refurbishment and warehousing, then shipped to the entity’s major refurbishments centers. The centers were in Indiana, and Chicago, as well as other destinations on the east and west coast. The setup of the DC included logistics that had to be timed for just in time for production. Negotiated several contracts with three different freight vendors, some LTL and others dedicated.
