Project Leadership
Led an engineering team for new, "Greenfield", factory build in Brazil for nearly 2 years. Team was composed of domestic and native engineers, technicians, and operators. This state-of-the-art facility delivered photoreceptor production on-time schedule-wise and under budget.
As a Project Lead Engineer, integrated robotics; precision servo controlled dipping processes; machine vision inspection systems; lasers etch stations; and drying, finishing, and packaging operations for new factory build as part of a $30M project.
Directed worldwide quality control (QC) photoreceptor gauging improvement projects, managing statistical studies across three worldwide facilities.
Developed procedures (SOPs) for internal quality measurements resulting in reduction of measurement variation between world-wide plants.
Led NPI Multi-Functional Printer (MFP) Power Saver feature test lab.
Reported weekly progress and metrics to program senior leadership team.
Project Lead for successful million-dollar warehouse AS/RS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval System) controls upgrade and refurbishment.
Business Management / Supplier Relations
Wrote precise specifications for outside suppliers and ensured that deliverables met corporate requirements.
Managed subcontractor deliverables schedule and integration of equipment into photoreceptor manufacturing lines.

As Project Manager directly interfaced with contract electronic manufacturer (CEM) as it pertained to SMT Controller PCBA’s found in Multi-Function (MFP) office printers. Supplied schedule, budget, and addressed contingencies to each manufacturer regarding NPI builds.
Collaborated with external Asian suppliers and overseas organization to achieve and maintain incoming high-quality products through the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools; FMEA and Design of Experiments (DoE) as required.
Intermediate Spanish and Portuguese speaker
Employee Engagement/Productivity
Collaborated with cross-functional teams consisting of domestic and native personnel to design, install and qualify new photoreceptor factory in Brazil. Documented appropriate technical specs and trained local personnel in use of new manufacturing and inspection equipment.
Led program team in design, implementation, and qualification of multi-million state of the art photographic emulsion plant. Directed a team of programmers, technicians, and operational staff in support of the delivery of facility’s automation software.
Supported chemical diagnostic slide packaging area by identifying, designing, and implementing significant improvement projects to existing production lines. Projects included process flow streamlining, equipment automation and mechanical enhancements.
Updated operational SOP’s, work instructions and Change Orders (CO) that adhered to facility’s FDA regulated GMP processes.
Received numerous corporate-wide awards and promotions in recognition of project achievements. Time to Market, Project Excellence and Environmental Improvement awards were received for leading and contributing to various critical projects.
