I have great people skills, communication skills, instructor skills, as well as excellent driving skills. Previously, I had a CDL and pulled double trailers for UPS, driven a UPS delivery van, driven a 13 speed dump truck, forklifts, and Cat and John Deere excavation equipment. More recently, Freightliners and KW T680. I’ve been a manager for Cowboy Cab where I road tested new drivers and ran background checks, dispatched, dealt with customer complaints, and implemented new software to better track our taxis and taxi fares. I’m well versed in computer skills including Word, Excel, Windows XP, Windows 7 and 8, QuickBooks Pro and most recently, the onboard computer systems Qualcom, Treq and PeopleNet. I’m an excellent instructor and have 13 years teaching/training experience. Most recently, preparing students to become safe, successful CDL-A drivers. I’m very knowledgeable about the FMCSA regulations, but more importantly, I’m very knowledgeable about people and serving people. I’m diligent, punctual, motivated and dependable. My personality allows me to capture the attention of my students in order to give them the necessary tools to drive like a champion. In August 2015, I acquired my CDL again, with doubles-triples endorsement, tankers, and Hazmat. Since that time, I’ve logged over 200,000 miles from coast to coast with no accidents or tickets and a 2-year safe driving award from J. B. Hunt. Furthermore, I’ve taken the Smith System driving course twice and feel this training made me a much safer, better driver. I have a perfect driving record. I feel this profession is well suited to me and would like the opportunity to join an excellent group that will allow me to become the best in the field. Charisma, character, education, and experience make me a very suitable candidate for this position.
