EXPERIENCE
Graphic Designer, Contract Work August 2014 – Present
Managed a team of four designers to rebrand a real estate company. Products included new logos, business cards, websites, and social media.
Designed a customer welcome packet for a hyperbolic medical company, including an exterior folder, business cards, and infographics on the company’s processes and fees.
Hand-illustrated designs for advertisements in print and digital media formats.
Created a multi-page magazine for home games at multiple high schools. Photographed teams and individuals. Interviewed athletes for articles and quotes. Worked with local businesses to sell advertisement space, and designed ads for those who didn’t have one.
Met with clients in Alaska, Utah, Montana, California, and Nevada through multiple meeting resources. Discussed needs of clients and determined plan of action for deliverables. Worked with printing companies in clients’ respective cities to order drop shipments of items.
Illustrated paper and sticker set for Photoplay Scrapbook Company to be sold worldwide.
Taught high school yearbook course including photography and design subject matter. Photographed all teams, clubs, and sporting events for the book.
Recruitment Coordinator, Flathead Valley Community College November 2023 – December 2024
Create visual aspects for recruitment, including mailers, flyers, emails, and presentations. Work with Marketing to ensure branding guidelines were met.
Supervised tours for prospective students on-site; designed swag to give away, including bags, pencils, notepads, water bottles, lanyards, and more to give to individual and group visitors. Plan group events for attendees to learn about college offerings. Create slideshow presentations for events and assign speakers and tour guides.
Planned on campus events for prospective students up to 150 attendees. Ordered food, assigned room set up, prepared giveaways, organized speakers, and all other tasks required for events.
Support the marketing team in advertising events on social media to increase registration through tours, events, and in-person school visits.
Identify prospective student data through college applications and individual inquiries. Use data to plan communication schedules for contact points with students through email and mailings.
Graphic Designer, American Heritage School August 2023 – May 2024
Met with the Marketing team to determine the content of the magazine. Determined deadlines with printer and set production schedule accordingly.
Designed the annual 80-page magazine, including photo editing, layout, and typography.
Created social media posts using American Heritage School's Mission Statement.
Worked with Creative Director to go over necessary edits for the magazine. Prepared file for press.

Facilitated all visual aspects of a tri-monthly catalog for print and digital platforms. Page totals ranged from 32 -180 pages.
Edited imaging for catalogs, advertisements, and websites using Photoshop. Maintained network for imaging and product catalogs.
Researched upcoming trends within the crafting industry to create innovative products. Designed these products for national chain stores as well as QVC and HSN.

•Conceptualized store layouts to increase sales, worked with store owners to implement layout.

•Collaborated with creative director to determine new product lines for sale on HSN, QVC, and national conventions.

•Taught classes at national conventions to 100’s of women. Prepared presentations, informational brochures, and gifts for attendees.

•Determine content for each issue including theme, articles, and colors.
•Worked with Copy Editor to produce bi-monthly issues of the magazine.

Booster Club, Multiple Schools August 2010 – May 2020
•Organized basketball multi-day tournament which included 24 schools from around the nation. Prepared game program, scheduled food for daily hospitality rooms, housing for student athletes, and managed volunteers.
•Oversaw fundraising for football, basketball, softball, and volleyball teams.
•Created budget and menu for a weeklong football camp for 120 athletes. Prepared food, and managed volunteers for serving and cleanup.
•Assisted coaches in service projects, game preparation, media day, and tournaments.
