**** – 2024 Dallas Music Hall, Fair Park, Dallas
Facility Manager
Responsible for all Maintenance and Repair to building systems and equipment.in the Fair Park Music Hall that has a 3524 seat Auditorium. The facility was built back in 1925 and renovated in 1973. It has presented many challenges and we have had much success. I have trained engineers in all areas of HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen equipment. Developed a maintenance/work order system. Completed for the first time ever a thermal scan and maintenance of all electrical switchgear and panels and then coordinated all repairs necessary from the scan. Straightened out the EMS system and how it was being used to save energy and trained staff on procedures and use. Replaced the back up 90 ton air cooled chiller and put it under computer control for optimum energy savings on light load days and for emergency back up if needed during shows or regular schedules. Relocated all server power onto the emergency generator system for zero down time. Replaced the facility sewage ejection system and associated discharge piping.
2017 – 2019 City of Athens, Rowlett and Chandler, Texas
Building Inspector
Responsible for all inspections for commercial and residential projects requiring a permit. Responsibles for plan review and approval. Also performed Code Enforcement as required.
2010 – 2017 Carrington AC and Heat, LLC
Service Manager/Owner
Responsible for running an HVAC business for both Residential and
Commercial customers. Service, repair and install all makes and models of AC
and Heating equipment. Projects included Kroger stores, El Rancho stores, private schools, hotels, industrial facilities and residential homes.
2007 – 2010 The Stoneleigh Hotel and Spa
Director of Engineering and Security
Responsible for all aspects of Maintenance, Fire and Life Safety, Security, Laundry, Training, Elevators,
HVAC, Plumbing, electrical, Landscaping, pest control, painting. Oversaw completion of a complete
rebuild of the hotel building and systems. This was equal to doing a new hotel start up.
2006 – 2007 Bent Tree Country Club, Dallas, Texas
Director of Maintenance
Oversaw all maintenance and upkeep for this upscale country club. Completed a total mechanical
renovation to all HVAC equipment and control system. Created a PM system for proper maintenance of
the entire clubs equipment to include the largest indoor tennis facility in the state of Texas.
2002 - 2006 Carrington Air Conditioning and Heating
Service Manager/Owner
Responsible for all aspects of running an HVAC business for both Residential and
Commercial customers. Service, repair and install all makes and models of AC
and Heating equipment. Installations were Philly Connection,
Carvel Ice Cream, Smoothie King, Kirkland’s and Quiznos.
2001 - 2002 ROSEWOOD Hotel Crescent Court, Dallas, Texas
Director of Engineering
Responsible for all Maintenance and Repair to building systems and equipment.
Also trained engineers in troubleshooting and repair to HVAC, refrigeration,
laundry and kitchen equipment. Oversaw and managed the renovation of the Fire
and Life Safety Monitoring system to include all field devices. Constructed
new Human Resources offices to create more room for their growth.
1998 - 2001 LE MERIDIEN HOTEL, Dallas, Texas
Director of Engineering
Responsible for all areas of maintenance & repair of 407 rooms with 25,000 square
feet of banquet/meeting space, four-star restaurant, laundry and two commercial
kitchens. Designed and installed an outside air damper system with automatic
controls for comfort and energy savings. Installed Tesa lock system to entire
hotel. Oversaw complete rooms renovation project.
1996 - 1998 FOUR SEASONS RESORT& SPORTS CLUB, Irving, Texas
Assistant Director of Engineering
Responsible for all preventive and corrective maintenance and repair of kitchens,
laundry with valet, two central plants consisting of chillers, pumps, cooling
towers, hot water and steam boilers, spa equipment and 21 separate bodies of
water. Coordinated and oversaw the rebuild of the resorts main cooling towers
for extended life while maintaining guest comfort.
1995 -1996 AMERICAN RED CROSS, Dallas, Texas
Facilities Director
Responsible for three buildings repair and maintenance for
HVAC, refrigeration and appliances. One building
encompassed four acres kept all chapter vehicles maintained
and ready for disaster services. Upgraded building electrical system to meet
current code and promote maximum safety.
1990 - 1995 LASALLE PARTNERS. Plaza of Las Colinas, Irving, Texas
Chief Engineer
Responsible for all repair and maintenance of a 600,000 sq. ft. office complex.
Duties included troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance of
building systems and equipment. This included an EMS system, Central plant
with chillers, pumps and equipment.
