McGraw Hill is an educational publishing house that has 3 operating divisions (K-12 (US), Higher Education (US), and International (UK)) that were in focus for the new solution.

The "Sales Enablement Project" / SEP is a new SFDC-centric web application to enhance the experience and process of searching for products (digital books) and their related documents (sales assets), and additionally enable an enhanced user-efficient method /web app of sending/sharing these product-related documents or product info documents with their external customers (called opportunities in SFDC ) who want to buy McGraw Hill products from the same portal while discovering products, thereby having designed an optimized click path for sales reps to conduct their sales without having to juggle between different tabs while firming up on potential customers(called leads in SFDC).

The project's main goal was to improve the current conventional SFDC search experience of a sales rep on SFDC to manage his opportunities to see a suggested list of products and sales assets and share them with external customers efficiently and seamlessly. The sales rep can also see some live visibility/ insight around the usage of the assets used by the recipients. Other personas in focus were product/marketing teams, and sales managers to manage the organization of sales assets and operations of their teams.
