Much of the focus of this position was on Sunday Morning. Curriculum selection, acquisition, reproduction, training of volunteers on lessons and ministry goals for students ranging from birth to 5th grade. Total number of students supported averaged 170 ever week. During my role in this ministry, I helped create and cultivate a complete Sunday morning worship service geared specifically for elementary students and supported by the curriculum we used. This worship service was at the time counted with the adult services. Along these lines, a volunteer level of 40 leaders was maintained every Sunday, this included training on the weekly curriculum, multiple levels of communication with the leaders and parents, maintaining a clear understanding of the goals and mission of the ministry, and safe sanctuary certification for leaders in the classroom.
