Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group/Friendswood Family Medicine-April 2014-present. (Previously worked here under CardioVIP) Role-Adult NP. Practice as clinician in primary/preventive care/urgent care, medicare chronic care management, medicare physicals, develop diagnoses, formulate a treatment plan and follow-up on patient response to treatment, take health histories and provide physical examinations, order/interpret laboratory results, prescribe and manage medications, provide health teaching and counseling to support healthy lifestyle behaviors/manage chronic diseases, and collaborate/refer patients to other health professionals as needed.
Coastal Medical Group-October 2013-April 2014. Role-Adult NP with Internal Medicine in Inpatient and outpatient setting. Practice as clinician in office and hospital setting. Develop diagnoses, formulate a treatment plan and follow-up on patient response to treatment, admissions/consults/discharges in hospital/ICU/outpatient setting, order/interpret laboratory results, prescribe and manage medications, provide health teaching and counseling to support healthy lifestyle behaviors, and collaborate/refer patients to other health professionals as needed. Left as position offered to me by Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group.
CardioVIP at Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group- March 2013 to October 2013. Role- Managed, followed, and treated patients in vascular improvement program. Practice in primary care setting at TGCMG that includes: Coverage for physicians, urgent care visits, and scheduled visits including the entire spectrum in Primary Care setting. Examine, diagnose, order lab and diagnostic testing, interpret, and implement treatment plans accordingly. Perform well woman exams, complete physicals, psychological problems, lipidology, hypertension, diabetes, and all other aspects of Primary Care. Position eliminated due to company “cut-backs.”
Elite Medical Care- June 2012 to February 2013. This was a contract position offering Primary Care and Weight Loss treatment for patients.
