Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Burbank, CA August 2019 – Present A 600 employee division of the Crane Company engaged in the engineering and manufacturing of braking and controls systems for military and commercial aircraft. Human Resources Director

Responsible for all Human Resources functions for the site Operations, Landing & Controls Systems Engineering Solution and Group Quality Teams.

• Obtained a California Employer Training Panel grant of $429,000.

• Lead the Human Resources Team with five direct reports.

• Created and implemented Human Resources continuous process improvements and department metrics.

• Led the Burbank site Strategic Recruiting Initiative to hire 90 associates year to date Aug 2024.

• Led a successful union avoidance campaign.

Ducommun- Structures Solutions Group, Monrovia CA August 2014 – August 2019 A 300 employee division of Ducommun Incorporated engaged in the manufacturing of composite military and commercial aircraft parts.

Human Resources Business Partner and Labor Relations Director (Jan 2016 - Aug 2019) Responsible for all Human Resources functions for the operational group for sites in Monrovia, CA, Santa Clarita, CA and Guaymas, Mexico including support with Labor Relations and workers’ compensation oversight for all fifteen Ducommun sites across the United States.

• Led the Human Resources assimilation of the Ducommun acquisition of Certified Thermoplastics.

• Obtained a California Employer Training Panel grant for all California sites in the amount of

$445,000.

Director, Human Resources. (August 2014 – December 2015) Responsible for all Human Resources functions at the Monrovia site including recruitment; training, development and succession planning; employee and labor relations; strategic planning/goal deployment; and legal compliance.

• Lead the organization in a reduction in force of 62 union and non-union employees.

• Negotiated collective bargaining agreements at the Monrovia, CA and Joplin, MO sites. Senior Aerospace SSP, Burbank CA November 2001 – August 2014 A 500 employee Division of Senior Operations LLC engaged in the design and manufacturing of air management systems, ducting and assemblies for military and commercial aircraft. Human Resources Manager (May 2007 - Aug 2014)

Responsible for all Human Resources functions including payroll, health & safety, recruitment, training & development, employee & labor relations, legal compliance and benefit administration.

• Lead the Human Resources function during the company growth from $40M to $100M in annual sales and increase in employees from 328 to 530.

• Saved $750,000 in Workers’ Compensation costs in 2013 through safety awareness, training, and cost containment measures.

• Obtained three California Employer Training Panel grants in excess of $1.2M.

• Successfully negotiated two, 3 year Collective Bargaining Agreements with the United Auto Workers Local 509.

(Feb 1996 - May 2001) Responsible for all employee and labor relations activity for six Northern California distribution centers.

• Resolved all Teamster union issues and grievances.

• Ensured compliance with six collective bargaining agreements.

• Served on the Company Bargaining Committee for two Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations.

• Served as the business partner to distribution center management providing guidance in all legal, company policy and contractual issues.

• Managed the HRIS Clerk and Benefits Administrator. Human Resources Representative. (May 1993 - Jan 1996) Managed all benefits and staffing activity for ten Northern California distribution centers and one bottling plant.

• Created a Leave of Absence Program to administer and control all leaves of absence in coordination with all federal, state and local laws.

• Managed the quarterly Account Manager Bonus Program.

• Created and deployed the Employee Evaluation Program.
