Purchasing Agent. Responsible for purchasing products to meet test requirements.

As The Contracting Officer Representative (COR), initiated complex packages for major purchases. Researched the best avenues of acquisition for major purchases providing justifications and best cost solutions.

Contract packages involved in the purchase of Forklifts, Lathes, and Specialized Trucks & Overhead Cranes to name a few. Contract packages involved for the lease of mobile cranes.

COR duties incorporated acting as a liaison between the contracting office and the contractors overseeing several service contracts. The Overhead Crane Contract involving 85 overhead cranes. The Machine Maintenance contract involved 2 machining shops on the installation and 60 pieces of equipment. The Chemical Parts Washers Contract involved 40 parts cleaners washers throughout the YPG installation. The Annual Deluge Testing and Maintenance Contract.

With my COR credentials, I have overseen additional service contracts. The movement of temporary trailer offices on the YPG installation. Another such contract awarded to a mobile crane company for their service of movement of tactical recovery vehicles for delivery to YPG from a railhead about 10 miles away.

As The Information Management Officer, (IMO), I advised on computer requirements to division heads and developed the packages for the purchase of computers, monitors, desktop and network printers and copiers annually. The division for which I served had about 140 computers in operation.

As the IMO, I resolved a host of minor computer issues for personnel and was hands on setting up computer replacements for personnel.

Property Manager. Property management was another function that I executed. Accountable property ranging from computers to military vehicles to metal fabricating machinery, I managed property in a data base and oversaw the annual inventories to ensure proper accountability.

Administrator. In seasons of the absence of an administrator for my division, my duties also involved many administration functions. I ensured time keeping was conducted for personnel. I insured that Temporary Duty (TDY) travel orders were performed for personnel traveling on official duties.

Additional functions, admin related, involved key control for our division’s buildings. A special key inventory I handled was our small arms room which involved greater responsibility give the nature of small arms.
