As the department coordinator, I liaised between external contractors and clients. My duties were to aid administrative assistants and trust officers by ensuring that projects were appropriately managed by gathering information from various sources; and compiling and composing highly technical and confidential documents such as reports, correspondence, and memos. Additionally, I assisted in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal operating systems and procedures. I also created and prepared presentations for both internal and external meetings.
The administrator's role entailed supporting Trust Officers concerning cash management activities and preparing routine discretionary payment requests for the Trust Officer. This position also involved identifying and resolving problems and discrepancies in account administration, attending meetings with clients, attorneys, and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), preparing account-related documents, monitoring the close-out of accounts, and participating in the training of junior administrative assistants. This position required working independently and with discretion and possessing excellent communication and organizational skills.
