Achieving Double-Digit Profitability: Implemented in just under 2 years at Emery Air Conditioning a technology upgrade, which proved instrumental in significantly modernize all aspect of the company’s technology infrastructure, which included building an app designed to track the vehicles for safety, generate invoices, receive payments, email receipts, handle scheduling, and print customer records. Consequently, generated an immediate increase in profitability of 22% with continued double digit growth year over year.
Enhanced the Overall Customer Experience: Led an on-going effort to improve the homeowners experience with Emery Air Conditioning. Subsequently, implemented a customer satisfaction survey after each service and new installations with the data collected from these surveys helped the company to accurately identify opportunities and successes of our processes, thereby allowing the company to create needed adjustments for success.
Establishing a Real Time Inventory Management System: Developed within 6 months of our greenfield start-up at Renewal by Andersen an inventory management system designed to track all units in warehouse ready for installation. Utilized a web-based scanning system along with data from the factory to create an Excel worksheet that tracked in real time every unit that entered the warehouse and removed from view after it was scanned.
Instituting Cost Conservation Measures: Played a key role in supply chain management in expanding the sourcing of materials from outside the United States at Commercial Residential Aluminum. Successfully sourced materials from South America and China that attained a 29% decrease in the cost of raw materials. Proper strategizing and planning allowed the company to better handle longer lead time of international shipping.
