• Maintain, improve, and develop systems to support EHS & food safety programs;
• Assist and organize and lead monthly food safety & EHS team meetings.
• Work with sanitation departments to improve sanitation programs and correct deficiencies.
• Responsible for internal audits and assist in corrective actions when necessary.
• Responsible for understanding and leading the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards (SQF) implementation and re-certification.
• Oversee CAPA programs and investigation of customer complaints regarding food safety and quality, as well as employee EHS safety concerns.
• Conduct annual and ongoing training for plant personnel.
• Oversee compliance with the Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls
(HARPC) provision in the FSMA.
• Work with Operations, to manage supplier quality and compliance.
• Monitor industry and regulatory updates, trends, and news to keep executive leadership informed and ahead of the curve.

situations to ensure workplace safety is not overlooked. Assist with administration of the corporate safety program within the facilities and projects we had at customers locations/ jobsites. I set an example of safety behavior in accordance with company safety culture, to promote changes in behavior, how to work safely. l assisted in the identification of job site/area specific safety requirements, safety equipment, material procurement, and training requirements.
• Inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.

• Document safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures. Maintaining safety equipment supply and availability according to company standards and operating budget.
• Maintains current awareness of applicable federal, state and local health, industrial hygiene and safety regulations.
• Accompany visiting inspectors and report findings.
• Administer the plant hazard communication program, including maintaining up-to- date SDS's, effective identification of all chemicals, chemical inventory and related training and education programs.
• Accumulate, prepare and enter health, industrial hygiene, and medical and safety data into EHS computer system. Analyze data and prepare standard and other requested reports for plant and regional management.
