At Danfoss we made compressors for air conditioners My job was to weld a copper tube into a piece called a shell and then I welded a piece on called a lifting lug onto the back of it and placed it into a basket to be moved down to the washer area load it on the go to the back of the washer and unload it into a basket to air dry then it is move over to another line for it to be loaded to another machine to be sent to the back. When i started a the center i had to go to a training class to learn how to do the job it was my first time working with adults with disabilities so i had to be trained the proper way how to handle the people serve I had to also be certified for CPR I have had microsoft computer classes and microsoft excel. When i started I was an LST 1 and then i was promoted to LST11 and what i did in my home that I was assigned to we to make sure that the people served had a bath and make sure that they got the correct food and assisted the nurse with giving them there medicine and i also did ahead count to make sure that all of the clients made it back to the home from their training area I also had to keep them active in the home so we played board games and alot of them had tvs in there room so they would watch television and some of the clients were 1:1 so i would have to keep an eye on her/him to make sure that they didn't hurt themselves or others in the home.

My job at the plywood plant was to make sure that the area was clean of wood pieces so that no one would fall and i would also give the other workers a break go on the line and take their place so that they could go to lunch or to the bathroom and if they needed me on the line i would fill in until somebody came back I also learned how to drive a forklift i had forklift license i had to go to class to get the in order to drive a forklift i was also on the safety committee i was the secretary i took notes and i also would walk through the plant and check the fire extinguishers to make sure that they were not out of date and if they was i would let my supervisor know so that they could be checked and replaced and make sure that they were still charged and make sure that the pin had not been pulled. I also checked the MSDS- Material Safety Data Sheets were up to date and i made corrections on them when they needed to be changed I also made sure that the workers had locks for locking out the machines when we cleaned the line i also checked to make sure that the hard hats and aprons and gloves was free from holes and made sure that everyone had scratch free safety glasses i also did time cards for my supervisor i put the time in the computer.
