December 2024 Till DATE NATIONAL HIV/AIDS SECRETARIAT, FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE – MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER.

Working on national Monitoring Plan on HIV/AIDS 2021-2025 in Sierra Leone.

Working on national Strategic plan on HIV/AIDS 2021-2025 in Sierra Leone.

Meeting with other Organisation like Jhpeigo, World Vision, Project Hope, MoHS/DPPI, ICAP, NACP, Christian Aid etc, for the national quarterly HIV M&E TWG meeting.

I did a 3 months internship from January to March 2022. I was placed in so many units like WASH unit, Port Health, Housing and Vector, food safety, Occupational health, Disease Surveillance unit and child health (CH)/Expanded program on Immunization (EPI), and I went to their various fields to learn more about them and work with them also

Contract staff- Supervisor of Population and housing census

I was awarded a contract by Stats SL in December 2021 to conduct the Mid-Term Population and Housing Census as Supervisor. I was responsible to monitor all my enumerators in the particular EA, sync with my enumerator and later in the day I sync to Head Quarter (HQ) and later was awarded to do also the Mopping up Census as a supervisor.

Internship in laboratory investigations and diagnostics department

Segregating samples based on different priority categories define by the customer.

Recording sample numbers and types received on a daily basis. Labelling, sorting, storing and retrieving samples when required.
