One of my most successful ventures has been leading the foundational work for Arrow Cloud Solutions. I played a key role in designing and launching ArrowSphere, a cloud solutions e-commerce platform. Starting with $5M in revenue in its first year (2015), we grew it by 378% over the next three years. The success of this platform lies in its back-end enablement system, which trains and certifies resellers in both technical and sales competencies. Additionally, a verticalized lead-generation system nurtures global leads for these certified resellers, helping them successfully sell multi-vendor cloud solutions. Today, Arrow Cloud is an $8B+ business and one of the largest revenue contributors to Arrow Electronics’ $28B earnings in 2024, spanning eight independent companies.
P&L Focus
Credibility in marketing is ultimately defined by its impact on the bottom line. To drive sustainable growth and maximize revenue, I have successfully restructured marketing teams with no additional headcount, reduced operational costs by 33% (cutting the budget from $1.2M to $787,000) while increasing the marketing revenue commit from 10% in 2023 to 25% in 2024. This strategy ensured that quota-bearing sales resources were retained/invested to close all opportunities (net-new and customer expansion) delivered by marketing.
Staff Development
I drive growth through cross-functional team development, mentorship, skills enhancement, and pipeline goal setting. Starting with a small team consisting of one full-time content manager and an intern, I have successfully built marketing organizations from the ground up, growing to a team of 25 members. This team spanned key marketing pillars such as product, field, digital channels, operations, content/creative, channel/partner marketing, and inside sales, all contributing to the achievement of 25% of the annual revenue target.
Organizational Transformation and Cross-Functional Collaboration I have successfully pivoted organizations from a revenue-driven to a customer-centric business model, leading change initiatives that align functional teams to a unified business plan to achieve annual growth and profitability targets. Key initiatives and KPIs across product, marketing, sales, and customer success included voice-of-the- customer research, product roadmap development, defining target audiences, and revenue per product, along with building a data-driven CRM, sales enablement, and full-funnel prospect and customer nurture programs to drive net opportunities and current customer expansion/upsell.
